Barbara A. Lee, 80, of Bedford, passed away at 5:26 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 1, 1943, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Lee Edward and Phyllis Marie (Smith) Allen. She retired as a clerk at NWSC Crane. She had volunteered at the Lawrence County Museum and enjoyed genealogy, sewing, and crocheting.
Survivors include a son, Gregg Taylor (Aleta), of Bedford; a daughter, Lora Patton (Armel), of Orleans; four grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, and Dillon Chumley, and Emily Taylor; great-grandchildren Gracie and Paisley Chumley; a brother, Jack Allen, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Kaci Crabtree, and great-grandson, Waylon Crabtree.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21st, at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery.
