BEDFORD- Mark your calendars, card sharks. The Orleans Dogwood Festival’s beloved Euchre Tournament returns for its 29th year on February 20, shuffling excitement back into the community.
Sign-ups are open now for the double-elimination tournament on March 23rd at the Orleans American Legion Hall.
Last year’s event saw over 80 teams vying for the coveted title and bragging rights. This year, organizers anticipate even more competition, with prizes awarded to the top three finishers. Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit the festival, known for its vibrant parade, live music, and delicious food vendors.
“It’s a fun-filled day for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned player or just learning the ropes,” says Festival Chair Sarah Miller. “It’s a great way to connect with friends, support the community, and have a few laughs.”
There is a $10 entry fee at the door, and no partner is needed.
