INDIANAPOLIS- Indiana State Police Detectives are investigating a serious crash that was a result of a driver fleeing from a Trooper in a vehicle. This evening, at 5:21, an Indiana State Trooper attempted to pull over a grey Ford Mustang for aggressive driving and excessive speed near 10th Street and Tibbs Avenue. The driver of the Mustang refused to stop and sped away. Moments later, the Mustang t-boned another vehicle at the intersection of 10th Street and Holt Road. The driver of the Mustang, along with a passenger in the Mustang, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Two people in the vehicle that was struck were also seriously injured. All four of the injured people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Information about the extent of injuries is unavailable at this time.
Indiana State Police Detectives, along with crash reconstructionists, are currently on the scene investigating the crash. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and there is no further information to release. The driver of the Mustang now faces several criminal charges.
