LOUISVILLE, KY. – Connor James Litka wanted to buy a new Porsche but was arrested instead.
According to court documents Litka, 21, of Bloomington, walked into the St. Matthews Porsche Dealership on Bowling Boulevard in Louisville, KY. with a $78 million check in hopes of buying a new Porsche. When dealership employees refused to sell him the car, Litka allegedly walked around to the back entrance of the dealership looking for car keys.
Authorities say he refused to leave until the dealership sold him the car. Scared he might do something reckless, employees called the police and Litka was arrested on one count of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
St. Matthews police said the previous day Litka tried a similar scam at the local Land Rover dealership. There he allegedly presented a check for $12 million to buy a new Land Rover.
