Michael ‘Mike’ Lee Young, 66, of Norman, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born January 4, 1958, in Seymour, he was the son of Robert Lee and Hazel H. (Hicks) Young. He married Beverly Ann Stancombe on March 4, 1976, and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2017.
Mike worked as a machinist for Master Brand Cabinets in St. Anthony, Indiana, and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union. He loved his dog Rizzo, who was his best friend.
Surviving are his daughter, Tina Marie Hobson of Norman; grandchild, Keona Stickney; great-grandchild, Jayce Stickney; and siblings, David Warren Young of Norman and Pamela Taylor of Oolitic.
His parents, wife, Beverly Ann Young, and son, Matthew Lee Young, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen with a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
