BLOOMINGTON – On Sunday, March 3, at 3:55 p.m., the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to South State Road 446 and East Salt Creek Drive for a three motorcycles crash.
Upon deputies arrival they assisted in rendering aid to all three motorcyclists, and one had to be life-lined from the scene for severe lower leg injuries.
As a result, South State Road 446 was shut down for two hours while accident reconstructionists investigated the scene.
This accident remains under investigation.
Monroe Fire Protection District and IU Health Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
