ORLEANS — Leading the upcoming 2024 Dogwood Parade will be Grand Marshals Tom and Belinda Bradley.
The two were long-time educators at Orleans Jr-Sr High School, retiring after 39 years for Tom and 35 years for Belinda. Although retiring from teaching, Tom continues as a varsity boys’ basketball coach at OHS for 25 years.
In selecting the husband-and-wife team, Orleans Chamber Executive Director Robert F. Henderson and festival committee members cited their numerous contributions to the Orleans Community down through the years.
The two are active members of the Orleans Christian Church. Belinda is a member of the Orange County Community Foundation Executive Board. She serves as the treasurer for the Orleans Food Pantry and is a ready volunteer for the pantry.
“We invite everyone to come out and help us honor both Tom and Belinda on Parade Day, April 27,” Henderson said.
