BEDFORD – The Bedford Police Department is excited to introduce Castiel (Caz), its new canine.
Caz is a one-year-old Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic.
He has been paired with Officer Michael Bell as his handler. They will undergo several months of training to become a certified dual-purpose team through the American Police Canine Association.
Caz and Officer Bell are set to carry the legacy of outstanding canine teams within the Bedford Police Department.
The department would like to express its gratitude to the Spring Mill Veterinarian Office and Hillside Boarding and Kennel for their generous support and excellent care of its K9 teams.
