SPRINGVILLE – A Springville man was arrested on Wednesday, March 6th, after Indiana State Trooper Ben Burris stopped his vehicle on State Road 37 at State Road 54.
According to a police report, the driver, 47-year-old Brandon Godsey, was speeding and making unsafe lane movements. His 2014 Ford F150 had an expired license plate.
The trooper stopped Godsey at 9:50 p.m.
Trooper Burris said Godsey had an abusive attitude, smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and poor dexterity.
Godsey had a blood-alcohol content of 0.181 percent and failed several field sobriety tests. He was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OWI endangerment.
