Cyber tip lands Medora man behind bars on child pornography charges

MEDORA – Indiana State Police Detectives arrested a Jackson County, Indiana man on multiple counts of possession of child pornography after a three-month investigation by Indiana State Troopers assigned to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigation began in December 2023 when a cyber tip was received from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.  The tip was then forwarded to the Indiana ICAC Task Force for investigation.  The investigation led to a search warrant being served Tuesday at a residence in the 9000 block of West US 50 near Medora.
