BEDFORD – Special Olympics of Lawrence County provides free sports training and athletic competition in various sports to people with intellectual disabilities.
Through this program, athletes also realize their potential, develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and build memories, all while forming friendships and getting to know people/businesses within our community.
Thanks to the generosity of those who dined at Golden Corral on Wednesday, March 13, the Celebrity Server raised more than $2,600 to support these talented athletes. The tips benefited more than 150 Lawrence County Special Olympics athletes.
