INDIANA — The National Weather Service will conduct severe storm spotter training in Knox, Greene, and Martin Counties.
Knox and Daviess County Severe Storm Spotter Training is scheduled for Monday, March 25th, at Vincennes University’s Technology Center, 1300 North Chestnut Street in Vincennes, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
It is free to attend, and no registration is required.
Other sessions will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds Community Building in Bloomfield on April 2nd from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and at the EMA Building in Loogootee on April 23rd from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Topics will include basic radar understanding, identifying severe weather cloud features, spotter location, reporting criteria, etc.
