Brett Donald Sanders, 60, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born December 11, 1963, in Bedford, he was the son of Donald E. and Sharon “Sherry” Louise (Scoville) Sanders.
Brett graduated from Mitchell High School and has been a lifelong resident. He was an avid Elvis Presley and Dale Earnhardt fan, enjoyed stock car racing, and played bass guitar and drums.
His children, Sherene and Cheyenne Sanders, survive.
His parents preceded him in death.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
