Kathy Wray, 72, of Springville, passed away at her residence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024.
She was born August 29, 1951, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Hubert and Gladys (Andis) Blake. Kathy worked at RCA and later at PRD. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Kathy attended First Christian Church and Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys Blake of Springville; children Jimmy Goodman and wife Sara of Mitchell, Brent Goodman of Bedford, and Jenny Wray of Bedford; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Blake of Springville and Raymond Blake of Springville; and a sister, Nancy Strunk and husband Mike of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her father, twins Kenny and Kelly Goodman, and a brother, Tom Blake.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th, at Cresthaven Memory Gardens, with Pastor Jeff Hudelson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
