BEDFORD—The Lawrence County Department of Child Services is hosting a Child Abuse Prevention Month kickoff event on Friday, April 5, at the Downtown Depot at 1401 J Street. The event will start at 11:30 a.m.
Bedford Mayor Sam Craig will read the proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Following the declaration, there will be a provider fair and food trucks.
