OOLITIC- The Town of Oolitic has instituted measures to ensure public safety during the eclipse weekend. A burn ban will be in effect April 6-8 and Town Hall will be closed on eclipse day.
The following road closures take place to provide emergency personnel access to addresses throughout the town should traffic congestion will be an issue.
A medical helicopter will be staged at the Dollens Middle School on Monday to provide quick access to trauma care should highways also become congested and hard to reach.
