HANCOCK COUNTY- The Indiana Secretary of State’s Securities Division is proud to announce the partnership with the Hancock County Women’s Resource Center to host a women’s financial empowerment program, titled ‘Plant a Seed, Watch Her Grow.’
April is Financial Literacy Month. This event highlights Secretary Diego Morales and the Securities Division’s commitment to promoting financial education throughout the Hoosier state.
“My Securities Division is committed to forming partnerships throughout the community to teach financial literacy skills to Hoosiers. Outreach events like this provide the opportunity to educate Hoosiers and create confidence when it comes to making smart investments,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
‘Plant a Seed, Watch Her Grow’ is aimed at providing a comprehensive platform for women to gain insights into managing their finances effectively, investing wisely, and planning for a secure financial future. The event will feature informative sessions and speakers from the community.
“Empowering women with financial knowledge is crucial. The purpose of this event is to prepare women of all ages and backgrounds with the tools and resources they need to make informed financial decisions, build wealth, and achieve their personal financial goals,” said Securities Commissioner Marie Castetter.
‘Plant a Seed, Watch Her Grow’ will cover a range of topics, including budgeting personal finances, understanding investment options, overcoming financial obstacles, achieving financial independence, retirement planning, and wealth accumulation.
