ORLEANS – Spectators at the upcoming 2024 54th Annual Orleans Dogwood Festival Parade will once be treated to a visit from the famed Circle City Sidewalk Stompers Clown Band of Indianapolis.
The Clown Band will also perform a brief show at the Main Stage on April 27th at 1:00 p.m. just before the parade downtown.
Word also has it around town that the award-winning “Indiana State Festival Association 1” will also make a special guest appearance during the event. “ISFA 1” is a 26 ½ foot step van with a custom-designed and colorful ISFA promotion wrap that features the 2024 Indiana Festival Guide Cover and highlights 70+ of Indiana’s Festivals, Fairs & Events. A 61-minute custom soundtrack that features fanfares, patriotic, festival, and Hoosier musical selections and announcements, a custom light package, and two bubble machines that produce over 6,000 bubbles per minute make for a natural festive touch.
The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th, and travel down Maple Street (SR 37 S.) and through the historic downtown area.
Entries are still being accepted; forms may be obtained by visiting the Dogwood Festival website. Entry forms are also available from The Orleans Progress Examiner and Orleans Town offices.
