Government Information Day returns to State Library; free agency booth space is available

INDIANAPOLIS— The sixth Government Information Day (GID24) will occur in person on Friday, May 17, at the Indiana State Library.

GID24 is a free collaborative conference open to all people interested in government information, documents, and data. This year’s keynote address speaker will be Scott Matheson, Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Publishing Office.

State agencies are encouraged to participate in the on-site information fair, which has been integral to all past conferences. Reservations for exhibitor booths are currently being accepted. Reserving free booth space will ensure high visibility of agency services and show support for public access to government information. During the day, attendees will be given time to visit the booths in the Great Hall, adjacent to the meeting rooms.

To reserve free booth space, please contact GID Conference Planning Committee member Andrea Glenn at aglenn@library.in.gov or 317-232-3729. A limited number of booths will have electricity available. The official conference program will list agencies reserving space by March 15.
