HELTONVILLE – James E. Ford was named Pleasant Run Township Trustee following the resignation of Michael Nicolson.
Nicolson submitted his resignation on February 25th, effective April 1, 2024. He resigned for health and personal reasons.
Ford will serve until 2026, the remainder of Nicolson’s term. Nicolson will now serve as a Pleasant Run Township Advisory Board member.
According to Lawrence County Clerk Amy Voorhies, the township did not conduct a caucus because it has only one precinct committeeman.
