BEDFORD – A Crown Point man was arrested early Wednesday morning after an Indiana State Trooper stopped him for speeding.
The 2016 GMC Sierra C-1500 driver was traveling north on State Road 37, north of State Road 58, when Trooper Samuel Gillespie stopped him.
Trooper Samuel Gillespie said the driver, 23-year-old Lucas Berrier, had red glossy eyes and slurred speech.
Berrier failed several field sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.151.
Berrier was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OWI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent or more
