ORLEANS– The Dogwood Classic Car Show will once again be a part of the opening weekend activities. The show, which is sponsored by the Orange County Car Club, is set for Saturday, April 20th, on historic Congress Square. Registration starts at 10 a.m., with judging taking place starting at around 12 Noon. Entry fee is $15. In addition to the car show this year, a brand-new tie-in event has been added to the festivities: the first-ever Dogwood Model Car Show. The show will be open to all Orleans and surrounding area students, with both elementary and high school divisions included. There is no entry fee for the model car show. Enter your model starting at 10 a.m. Judging will take place at Noon, and awards will be presented at or around 1 p.m.
