INDIANA— The Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) is the state’s lead agency for upholding Indiana civil rights laws and working towards eliminating all illegal discrimination. ICRC also provides education and services to the public to ensure equal opportunity for all Hoosiers and visitors to the State of Indiana.
To accomplish this, they actively deploy staff and resources to anyone who needs assistance, has questions, or wants to learn more about their rights.
Education & Training
If you wish to learn more about federal, state, or local laws, ICRC provides a series of training videos and a variety of posters and brochures that can be delivered to your community or organization. The C.O.R.E. program is vital to ICRC’s mission and provides a calendar of outreach events throughout the state.
Filing a Complaint
ICRC also receives complaints of discrimination regarding employment, real estate, public accommodations, credit, and education. If an initial assessment warrants further consideration, they will investigate any claims to ensure that people are treated fairly.
