BARTLETTSVILLE— At 3:51 p.m. Thursday, Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire in the 4000 block of Bartlettsville Road.
Firefighters from Pleasant Run Township VFD, Lawrence County Fire Territory, Marshall Township Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department, and Monroe Fire Protection responded to battle the blaze.
One person was transported by ambulance to an area hospital after suffering burns. Another fled the scene.
Police say there were reports of an altercation between the two people before the fire started.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the fire.
