WASHINGTON – Washington Police arrested a Washington couple Sunday on felony counterfeiting warrants and then found drugs in their home when making the arrest.
While detaining 44-year-old Michael Barnard and 43-year-old Nicole Barnard, police spotted narcotics in plain sight in their home.
During a search of the residence, police found about 4.5 grams of crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.
Both were arrested on counterfeiting warrants and new charges of possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Also arrested was 32-year-old Katelyn Ross of Washington on charges of criminal trespass, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and visiting a common nuisance.
