MITCHELL – Ethan Turner, a senior at Mitchell High School, was named the Genius Jock for May, presented by the Pritchett Brothers.
The son of Erik and Amanda Turner, Ethan has been involved in football, basketball, and baseball.
He is also a member of SADD, 4-H, Champions Together, the Athletic Leadership Club, the Student Council, and a Special Track and Field member. He is also an IHSAA Student Ambassador and Bluejacket Buddies Captain in football, all while maintaining a 2.719 grade point average.
After graduation, Ethan plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a business degree. Alternatively, he’s considering joining the operators union to become an operator.
