SANTA CLAUS— Holiday World opens for the 2024 season this Saturday, May 11th.
Park officials say new for the 79th season is Good Gravy!, a family roller coaster that journeys through Grandma Gracy’s house frozen in time – 1965. Riders board a train shaped like a giant gravy boat traveling up to 37 miles per hour to make more gravy and save Thanksgiving dinner.
Officials say the new ride is part of a larger Stuffing Springs addition to the theme park’s Thanksgiving section, which includes a Cranberry Corner playground and giant kitchen accessories.
The park also introduces a new coffee and boba shop in the Thanksgiving Section.
The 2024 season brings the return of Holidays in the Sky, which will run with 500 drones from June 22nd through August 2nd.
Both parks are cashless.
