BEDFORD – On Saturday, May 4, Bedford Police officers responded to the 400 block of Rivervale Cabin Road after a Juvenile Probation officer reported they had a juvenile possibly under the influence of alcohol.
Juvenile Probation officers Connie Bailey and Ashley Bridges reported the 14-year-old tested positive for alcohol in a breath test.
When Officer Joshua Turner and Major Jeremy Bridges responded, they administered the female teen a breath test. The teen had a blood alcohol content of 0.046.
She was detained on a charge of illegal consumption. She was transported to the Bedford Police Department.
The teen was then released to her father’s custody with a promise to appear in court on May 15 at 9:00 a.m.
