BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington South conquered Bedford North Lawrence during boys high school golf action at Bloomington Country Club on Thursday.
The Panthers, paced by Luke Garrett’s 1-over 73, fired a team total of 306, while the Stars settled for 362.
Tyler Bellush paced BNL with an 83.
“The course was playing really tough,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “The Country Club’s greens are tough and it got the best of us. There were still some bright spots and we need to build on those. We have another opportunity coming up, so we have to put this round behind us, move onto that round.”
BNL will compete in the Franklin Invitational at The Legends on Saturday.
