BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested after the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department received a tip that 54-year-old Teddy Eggers was involved in dealing large quantities of meth.
Eggers was arrested Wednesday night.
Deputy Brenten Trueblood launched an investigation and obtained a search warrant from Lawrence County Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline for Eggers’ home in the 1000 block of 22nd Street.
On Wednesday, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Deputy Trueblood, with the assistance of Captain Harrison Fleetwood, Deputy Joshua Rhoades, and Bedford Police Officer Nick Crulo, executed that search warrant. During the search, officers located approximately 27 grams of methamphetamine, Psilocybin mushrooms, THC wax, digital scales, baggies, smoking devices, and items associated with the dealing drugs.
Eggers was arrested and booked into the Lawrence County Jail on felony charges of dealing and possession of meth over 10 grams, possession of meth between ten and 28 grams, maintaining a common nuisance, and unlawful possession of a syringe, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
