CLAY COUNTY- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures coming to U.S. 40 in Clay County.
Beginning on or after Wednesday, May 15, crews will begin closing one lane at a time, beginning with the westbound lane, between Jackson Street in Brazil, and C.R. 200 E in Harmony. Once work is complete in the westbound lane, crews will switch to the eastbound side.
During the lane closures, preventative maintenance work on the road will be taking place. Work is expected to last until sometime in the summer but is weather permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages all drivers to drive slowly and keep worker safety top-of-mind while traveling through the area.
