Chantelle C. Indiano, 37, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 6, 1986 in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of Steven R. and Jacqueline J. (Lindsey) Emberton. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 2005 and received her Bachelors of Nursing Degree from Purdue University. She married Joseph I. Indiano on February 6, 2012 in North Captiva Island, Florida.
She worked as an R.N. for Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis and was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Most importantly, she loved to spend time with her children and family. She enjoyed gardening, boating at the lake house, hiking, and bus trips with her family, and she was an avid lover of animals.
Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Joseph Indiano of Yorktown; five children, J.J., Shiloh, Archer, Juniper and Olive, all at home; her parents, Steve and Jackie Emberton of Mitchell; one sister, Autumn Gaines (husband, Dickie) of Mitchell; one brother, Lucas Emberton (wife, Tomica) of Mitchell; her grandmother, Charlene Deckard of Mitchell; and her in-laws, Joseph and Jude Indiano of West Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morrison and Christine Downs and Harold Lindsey, and one brother, Shane Emberton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 2300 W. Jackson Street, Muncie, with Father Christian DeCarlo presiding.
Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024; the rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary.
Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Talbott Cemetery in Mitchell, IN.
A Celebration of Life will be held after the burial on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 4 pm to 6pm at the First Baptist Church Christian Living Center on Frank Street, Mitchell, Indiana.
