PRINCETON – A Patoka woman is facing criminal charges after police say she hit a juvenile with her vehicle Friday afternoon.
Gibson County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a home on Bald Hill Lane near Princeton at 1:15 p.m. after a report a juvenile had been run over by a woman driving a white Land Cruiser.
Following an investigation, police arrested 41-year-old Brittany Burkett on a felony charge of neglect. She is being held in the Gibson County Jail.
The sheriff’s office says no other information about the juvenile or their condition will be released.
The investigation is ongoing.
