JACKSON CO. – The Jackson County Public Library’s Adventure Begins begins May 28 and runs through July 31 at the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus.
The program is free and open to all ages, from newborns to adults.
Participants may sign up online through the Readsquared app, available for Android and IOS, or by visiting or calling the library.
Participants can earn prizes of 300, 600, 900, and 1,200 points. Up to five grand prize entry slips can be earned for additional reading up to 2,400 minutes. This year’s grand prizes at each location are a $200 gift card to Walmart, Dollar General, or a picnic basket backpack.
Pre-K Summer Learning Program
This program encourages life-long reading habits for children ages 0-5. Every minute spent reading = 1 Point

- Level 2 = 600 Points
- Level 3 = 900 Points
- Level 4 = 1200 Points
