INDIANAPOLIS— Few, if any, issues are more critical to employers and employees than the future of health care. But with the fast-changing landscape of health care, including service offerings, insurance options, and government regulations, it’s one of the most challenging aspects of anyone’s personal or professional life to manage.
That’s why the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is launching the Health Care Transformation Summit. The inaugural Summit will be held June 10-11 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center in downtown Indianapolis and feature a blue-chip lineup of panelists and speakers, including Dr. John Whyte, WebMD chief medical officer, who will give the closing keynote address.
“This two-day event is a don’t-miss for anyone in the health care industry or any business or individual impacted by it,” emphasizes Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “With the complexity and massive impact of health care on all Hoosiers, not to mention the lightning speed at which changes are happening in this field, this event simply couldn’t be coming at a more crucial time.
“The Chamber is pleased to not only bring these important health care issues to the forefront but also create a platform where Indiana’s health care employers and employees can come together to discuss and address these important issues,” she adds. “The Chamber looks forward to engaging with our partners in this field to guide the entire state to an even brighter – and healthier – future.”
Panel topics include Employer strategies, obesity in the workplace, ensuring access to pharmacy benefits and supply chain security, innovative models, rural health care, the roles of hospitals and insurance companies in the future of health care, emerging technology, price transparency, preventative care, and precision medications.
“This event is focused on equipping Indiana business leaders and workers with the knowledge to navigate an everchanging health care landscape,” Sinders states. “Discussions will explore improving outcomes, increasing access, and decreasing costs for patients, providers, and employers. This is a unique opportunity to understand where we are today and where we’re going in the future.”
Registration is $299 for Indiana Chamber members and $349 for non-members. Companies sending two or more attendees can use promo code GROUP20 to receive a 20% discount at checkout.
