BEDFORD— The Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Families Association is an organization dedicated to our service members, veterans, and their families. Founded by the Hoosier Hills Chapter of the Red Cross in 2003, it sends care packages to those serving overseas and stateside, has grant money available for service members in an emergency, and takes donations for military families in need.
They are preparing their 15th Annual “Support Our Troops Ride” to take place June 15th, 2024, at the American Legion at 515 X Street in Bedford from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is a ride for motorcycles or Jeeps and is their only fundraiser for the year. After the ride, a dinner will be provided, and a silent auction will continue to raise money for veterans and their families. The cost to participate is $25 for two people, and each additional person is $10. That entry fee includes the ride and dinner.
The Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Families Association is looking for sponsors for the event. They have three levels of sponsorship available:
Red- $1,500 donation
White- $1,000 donation
Blue- $500 donation
