BEDFORD — On Saturday, June 8th, the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County will host a fundraiser at the John Lowery Municipal Pool from 12 to 8 p.m.
This year, for the Yellow Duck Race, you can purchase a duck for $5, 5 ducks for $20, 13 ducks for $50, and 30 ducks for $100. This is a change, as in the past, it used to be ducks for $100. There are 10,000 ducks available. The winner of this race will receive $4000, and the next 40 to 50 ducks to cross the finish line will win gift cards, free oil changes, gift baskets, and other generously donated prizes.
There are 100 ducks available for the Blue Duck Race, with each duck costing $100. The winner will receive $2,500, and the last place winner will receive $100.
