VINCENNES – A Knox County Superior Court I jury returned a guilty verdict Thursday in the trial of 69-year-old Michael Hartzberg of Bicknell.
Hartzburg was found guilty of vicarious sexual gratification, sexual misconduct with a minor, and voyeurism. He was found not guilty of child molesting.
The conviction stems from incidents reported in August of 2022 involving his grandchildren.
Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan praised the young victims who came forward.
After the verdict, Hartzburg was booked into the Knox County Jail. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 30th.
