BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department hosts open testing and interviews for Correction Officers.
On May 25th, the Sheriff’s Office will hold two open sessions at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the written test and interviews for correction officer openings. If interested, come to either session. The application can be filled out at the open session or downloaded and filled out ahead of time.
Minimum Requirements – Must be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and obtain a GED or high school diploma.
A Drug Screen and Background Investigation will also be part of the hiring process.
