MITCHELL— The Mitchell High School Cheerleaders are hosting a Summer Spirit Event on Saturday, June 8, and are looking for vendors to participate.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. surrounding El Compadre at 1608 Wilkins Way in Mitchell. It is free to attend.
Cheerleaders are doing a car wash, bake sale, and face painting. Blues Cafe food trucks and Bubble Tea Barn will also be set up.
A 10×10 space costs $50, and an oversized space costs $75. All trailers must be in an oversized space.
Vendors can begin setting up at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th.

The Varsity Cheerleading Team is also looking for sponsors to help support the growing program.
The team’s numbers have steadily grown, increasing from 12 members to 16, and the JV Cheer Program has been reintroduced.
The teams need some game day and practice equipment as well as uniforms.
