BEDFORD – The Bedford Farmers Market features local farmers, artisans, and bakers. All items for sale at the market are handmade or homegrown in Lawrence County and within 75 miles of the courthouse.
Products available at the Bedford Farmers Market include fresh produce, plants, farm-fresh eggs, local beef, chicken, and pork, baked goods, jams, jellies, sweet bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, jewelry, tie-dye, pottery, leather goods, baby items, candles, walking sticks, baskets, crochet dolls/animals, and a variety of other art/craft items.
The market runs from May 18 until Oct. 26 on the Lawrence County Courthouse grounds in downtown Bedford from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
New vendors/performers are welcome throughout the season; the vendor fee is only $50/year for a 10×10 space. (Vendors who expect to participate in fewer than five weeks may pay a weekly fee of $10 rather than annual.) Reserved spots are available for $10 per space, and electricity is also available for a small fee.
