BROWNSTOWN — A Jackson County woman is behind bars facing a Level 1 felony charge of neglect of a dependent causing death.
Police arrested 28-year-old Kassandra Lynn Bracewell of Brownstown on Saturday at 6:13 p.m.
According to police, the case remains under investigation, and more information will be released later.
Bracewell is being held at the Jackson County Jail without bond pending her initial hearing in Jackson Circuit Court.
According to mycase.in.gov, Bracewell has a lengthy criminal history, including charges of dealing and possession of meth, theft, fraud, and possession of marijuana.
