LAWRENCE CO. – Lawrence County Girl Scouts are seeking sponsorships for the Lawrence County Camporee.
This two-day event will be held at Spring Mill State Park. Girls will be camping, building fires, cooking over a fire, foraging, and hiking.
The sponsorships will pay for the camping, food, and other expenses associated with the experience.
The program will allow Lawrence County Girl Scouts to experience the four pillars of the Girl Scout program: STEM, life skills, taking advantage of the outdoors, and becoming an entrepreneur.
Girl Scout membership in Lawrence County increased by more than 25 percent, reaching more girls and schools, but the county still has more to achieve.
The Girl Scouts need your help to keep the girls involved and costs down.
