COLUMBUS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb will join executives of Toyota Material Handling and local officials at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, to break ground on the company’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bartholomew County.
Earlier this month, Toyota Material Handling announced plans to expand its headquarters campus in Columbus by building a 295,000-square-foot manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of electric products. The nearly $100 million facility will support increasing customer demand and create up to 85 new jobs by the end of 2026.
The event will be held at 5559 Inwood Drive in Columbus. Officials will make remarks inside the rotunda, and guests will shuttle across the street for the groundbreaking.
