MITCHELL— On May 17th, Mitchell High School held its graduation ceremony, and Taylor Lee was named Salutatorian.

She graduated with a 4.3 GPA. Taylor shared, “For all four years, I was first in the class, and that was my end goal. I always wanted to be the best I could. It ended up coming down to the last days of finals, and in the end, I got beat out. Even though it wasn’t the goal I had in mind it was still an amazing accomplishment and something I had to work very hard to reach.” Taylor also received the Lilly Endowment scholarship for 2024, which will pay her college tuition for the next four years. Taylor plans to attend IU Indy for a bachelor’s degree in Financing or Accounting from the Kelly School of Business. After that, she plans to attend law school to become a Prosecutor.
