JACKSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Ragle Inc. plans to begin bridge rehabilitation work on State Road 58 over Bee Creek on or after Friday, June 1, near Kurtz.
Work will occur approximately three miles west of State Road 135 and is expected to be complete by late July, weather permitting. Most of the work will take off the roadway, but motorists should remain vigilant as temporary flagging operations are sometimes possible. Signage will be placed in the area before the start of construction.
This work is part of a contract awarded to Ragle Inc. in January 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
