Doris Earl, 100, of Bedford, passed away at 8:51 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the
White River Lodge.
Born September 13, 1923, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Clinton Dick and Zelma (Smith)
Anderson. She married Robert Earl on March 14, 1943, and he preceded her in death on October 2, 2008.
She was a homemaker and managed the lunch counter at the Woolworth’s Store.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Mowery, and husband, Don, of Bedford; a son, Steve Earl, and wife,
Cynthia, of Springville; four grandchildren, Donna Anderson and husband, Mark; Kimberly Perry and husband, Sam, Jr.; Melissa Murphy and husband, Pat, and Damon Earl and wife, Heather; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Private services are planned. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Doris’ memory to the Springville Fire
Department of the Springville Gym Restoration Project.
