Our precious mother and grandmother passed away at her home on May 26, 2024.
Phyllis Ann Hall was born on January 3, 1942, to Robert T. Hall and Dorothy (Godsey) Hall of Oolitic. She graduated from Oolitic High School and married Robert Darrell Abel in September 1959. Phyllis was a loving wife and mother; together, they had four children.
Phyllis was a faithful Christian who attended the Peerless Pentecost Church regularly. She was a homemaker who worked in the cafeterias of Dunn Hospital and Bedford General Motors for several years.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Randy) Prewitt of Oolitic and son Michael Scott Abel
of Guthrie. She has seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who she loves very much. Her grandchildren are Landon Garland, Lindsay (Aaron) Staggs, Jimmy Speer, Sara (Austin J.) Speer, Chris Bales, Zach Bales, Jessica (Tim) Stillions. great-grandchildren: Madison, Alexandra & Elliot Staggs, Christian Garland, Rylee and Carsen Jackson, Robbie, Rebecca, Ronan, Damian Bales, Logan, Lyla, and Hallie Stillions.
Her daughters Debra (Jim) Speer of Arizona and Sandra (Abel) Bales of North Dakota preceded her in death. Her parents, her brother Robert Wayne (June) Hall and her sister Barbara (Max) Abel.
She will be greatly missed and remembered always with love.
Cremation was chosen, and she asked for no visitation or funeral. There will be a graveside prayer
at a later date with Bro. Aaron Swafford.
