SPIN-Supporting People In Need volunteers plant family gardens

BEDFORD – SPIN-Supporting People In Need is a daytime community support program focused on serving those in need and helping those struggling in the Bedford community obtain the resources and support they need to lead active, whole, healthy, responsible, and self-sufficient lives.

Jamie Hooten, a teacher who runs Green Thumbs at Lincoln Elementary and Land of Limestone Master Gardeners, and the George E. Archer Foundation are key players in supporting the program.

Best of all, each family gets a garden of their own to grow at home.
