BEDFORD – On February 15, 2024, a woman came to the Sheriff’s Department to report the theft of her license plate.
The woman told Deputy Robin Compton that her vehicle had been towed from Johnny Junxions’s parking lot on January 25. When she went to check on her car, she noticed that its license plate was missing.
On February 15, at 2:19 p.m., a Bedford Police officer conducted a traffic stop. The 2004 Land Rover had the woman’s stolen license plate on it.
The driver was 42-year-old Joshua Early, and he admitted to stealing the license plate.
The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Early’s arrest on a charge of theft.
